Constellations of Home

Navigating adulthood is a daunting and exhausting task.

And yet, society dictates that it must be so. Even as it drives us away from ourselves. Even as it distances us from the dreams we nurtured in youth. At some point in this journey, we find ourselves further from the path we once dreamed for ourselves.

In Constellations of Home, the poet undertook to challenge herself— for a hundred days, she attempted to write her way to the beginning.

In a collection of short prose and streams of consciousness structured as poetry centered around life, self and love, the poet, slowly through stardust and dreamy threads, reveals the path back to herself.

The way home, after all, is much closer than we think.

Constellations of Home also includes illustration by renowned UAE visual artist, Ashwaq Abdulla.
